Jane Byers - Poet and Writer
Jane has been writing poems and short stories from the wild places for over 20 years. Her writing explores the intersection of our inner landscapes and our natural environments with courage and piercing insight.
 
Jane lives in Nelson BC with her partner Amy Bohigian and their lucky dog Darwin. She spends most mornings with a pen in her hand at home.
 
Jane’s poetry is published in Horsefly Literary Journal, Fireweed and Our Times  Magazine. Jane is a two time winner of the Nelson District Arts Council Writing Competition in 2006 and 2007.
